SHM at CROI 2017

Stichting HIV Monitoring (SHM) is proud to have contributed to numerous oral and poster presentations at CROI 2017, taking place this week in Seattle, USA. Three of the 8 oral presentations in today’s Inflammation and Age-Related Complications session include SHM data, as well as one in the session entitled Hepatitis C: Problems and Progress. SHM is also well-represented in today’s poster sessions, with three of today’s posters involving collaboration with SHM and one, by senior SHM researcher Ard van Sighem, presenting evidence that earlier diagnosis and treatment reduces HIV transmission in MSM in the Netherlands.
