National collaborations
Broad cooperation
SHM is assigned by the Dutch Minister of Health to monitor HIV in the Netherlands and to contribute to the quality of HIV care. This recognition by the Dutch government of the importance of a national HIV/AIDS monitoring system contributes to our understanding of the effect of lifelong treatment of HIV in the Netherlands. SHM collaborates with various institutions within the Netherlands and in various projects.
