RIVM publishes report on sexually transmitted infections

The number of new HIV diagnoses at sexually transmitted infection (STI) clinics in the Netherlands in men who have sex with men dropped by 9% in 2014, according to the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment’s report Sexually Transmitted Infections, including HIV, in the Netherlands in 2014. Drawing on data collected by STI clinics and Stichting HIV Monitoring, the report provides a summary of national surveillance data and a review of the epidemiology of STIs in the Netherlands in 2014.
