HIV test week in Amsterdam

During the week of World AIDS Day (28 November through to 4 December), the HIV Transmission Elimination Amsterdam initiative (H-TEAM), in which SHM is a partner, is organising an HIV test week throughout the city of Amsterdam. During this week, the Public Health Service (GGD), GPs and the Academic Medical Center (AMC) will place greater focus on the Amsterdam Zuidoost area (South–East Amsterdam). Throughout the week, the Public Health Service and the Aids Healthcare Foundation will be present at various markets in this area to inform people and to offer a free rapid HIV test. GPs and the AMC are also offering free testing.
