SHM data in at least 12 presentations at CROI 2016

Last week, Stichting HIV Monitoring data contributed to at least 11 poster presentations and one oral presentation at CROI 2016 in Boston, MA, USA. SHM researcher, Daniela Bezemer, presented further findings relating to her work on HIV-1 non-B subtype transmission amongst men who have sex with men (MSM). Ard van Sighem presented a poster on behalf of Oliver Ratmann (Imperial College London) that used SHM data to investigate the role of young MSM in the persistant HIV epidemic in the Netherlands. Other posters were presented on behalf of various European cohort studies to which SHM contributes data, such as COBRA, CASCADE, EuroSida and ART-CC.
