RIVM publishes report on sexually transmitted infections

The number of HIV diagnoses made by sexually transmitted infection (STI) clinics in the Netherlands in 2013 has remained similar to that reported in 2012 (358 vs 356, respectively), according to the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment’s report Sexually Transmitted Infections, including HIV, in the Netherlands in 2013. Drawing on data collected by STI clinics and Stichting HIV Monitoring, the report provides a summary of national surveillance data and a review of the epidemiology of STIs in the Netherlands in 2013.
