I work as a biostatistician supporting reasearchers working at or in collaboration with the Stichting HIV Monitoring.
Short bio
I studied mathematics and statistics at the universities of Sheffield, England, and Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I obtained my PhD from the University of Amsterdam in 2005. My thesis described the statistical aspects of the development of an instrument to assess the ability of people with chronic medical conditions to perform activities of daily life. I have worked in the department of methodology and statistics at Maastricht University and in the departments of clinical epidemiology and biostatistics and of neurology in the Academic Medical Center, Amsterdam.
