HIV Intervention Monitoring (deel VI), Curaçao (26-27 april)
Voor het zesde jaar werd er een HIV workshop georganiseerd in het Auditorium St. Elisabeth Hospital in Curaçao. De workshop was vooral bedoeld voor artsen en verpleegkundigen. SHM's senior onderzoeker, Ard van Sighem, was aanwezig en presenteerde: "HIV-monitoring op de Nederlandse Antillen". Klik hier om de presentatie te bekijken.
Maart 2010:
International Workshop on HIV Observational Databases (IWHOUD), Barcelona, Spanje (25-27 maart)
Tijdens IWHOUD heeft de Stichting HIV Monitoring vier presentaties gehouden:
- High rate of virological success in etravirine treated patients, Frank de Wolf
- Occasional transmission of multidrug resistant strains, Daniela Bezemer
- Modelling trends in CD4 cell decline before the start of antiretroviral therapy, Luuk Gras
- Immunodeficiency and viral load and the risk of non-AIDS events among untreated HIV-infected patients, Shuangjie Zhang
